The Mayor of Perm Eduard Sosnin took part in the international forum «Kazan Digital Week-2023»
He shared practices of modern technologies in the field of attracting investments.
At the forum the Mayor of Perm Eduard Sosnin made a report “Digitalization: new opportunities for the investments”.
“In 2022 Perm was ranked 7th according to the Urban Environment Quality Index and to the rating of the IQ-cities Urban digitalization. However, digitalization is necessary not only for the urban economy, but also for the economy in general. The investment volume in fixed assets was more than 141 billion, or 135 thousand rubles per resident”, – said Eduard Sosnin.
He emphasized that Perm had a great potential for raising investments. According to him, the Investment Portal of the Perm region has become a special tool, that combines all the necessary information for the investors. Moreover, it makes it as convenient and comprehensible as possible. This is a unique platform that helps you choose an investment site, to search for relevant directions for investments, and to offer one’s projects. The potential investors can receive full information about a project, its potential and expected yield. In 2022, the government of the region started to implement the mechanisms of the Regional Investment Standard that is recommended by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The Investment Standard is a mechanism that is aimed at supporting investors in the region; the next stage will be the introduction of the municipal investment standard.
It is necessary to point out that the aim of Kazan Digital Week-2023 is to assist in the exchange of scientific and technical information, consolidation of scientific and technological assets that are capable of solving the problems of import substitution and proactive import substitution at the effective level, to ensure technological sovereignty and data sovereignty as the basis of the leadership of the Russian Federation in the international partnership. In 2023 the Minister of Digital Development of Russia Maksut Shadaev took part in the opening ceremony of the forum. About 5,7 thousand of participants from 31 countries have registered to participate in the forum.
